Troubleshoot the Citrix IMA
Recently we applied a bunch of MS hotfixes to our Citrix 6.5 server (delivered from PVS 7.1) and broke the Citrix IMA entirely. Sigh.
My usual employed fixes are typically run (from an elevated cmd prompt) a ‘dsmaint recreatelhc’, ‘dsmaint recreaterade’, then reinstall the last Rollup Hotfix Pack (today for me it was RO4!)
If that doesnt work you can sometimes cheat and set the service to run as local service (but not recommended) – this can however break various things like reboot schedules and printing – so use it with caution or as a workaround on a temporary server.
